TLC Rehabilitation Physical Therapy Brooklyn office has moved to 6501 Bay Parkway, at the corner of 65th Street and Bay Parkway. This 6,000 sq. feet new office includes nine individual treatment rooms, a 2,000 sq. ft gym area with state of the art exercise equipments such as treadmill, step master, elliptical walker, upper and lower body ergometer, total gym, gait trainer, wall mount exerband fitness bar, and an endless pool for aquatic therapy. This unique office is not only going to provide the community with regular physical therapy rehabilitation services, but it also includes a wellness exercise programs such as weight loss program, osteoporosis prevention program and aquatic tai chi program in the future.
At the beginning of this year, the government has post a limit on physical therapy service utilization for all medicare beneficiaries. The capitation limit for physical therapy is $1740 per year. Medicare, also, does not cover the physical therapy maintenance program. Therefore, a lot of senior citizens cannot continue their exercise or restorative programs after they reach their cap limit.
Our facility is here to help you out. We will allow all senior citizens to use our facility exercise equipments at NO cost for three months. The goal is to promote the general health of all senior citizens and prevent them from being weak and fatigue.
For those people who have completed a course of physical therapy or who are currently receiving physical therapy will be entitled to the same benefits. The promotion will run for three months. A monthly membership fee of $50 will be charged otherwise, for non-patients to enjoy the facility.
We have open house to the public every Monday from 1 PM to 3 PM. You and your friends or family members can come over and take a glimpse of the facility. You may discuss with the therapists about your problems and see if physical therapy and acupuncture are the treatment options for you.
